  • Rani Morris

Rani works with gold, silver and precious and semi-precious stones. As a designer, she finds ways to make the dead alive and nostalgia contemporary. Her geometric and paisley shapes are rooted in her upbringing in Pakistan’s arid Sindh province; her nature-inspired designs often result from bold wax casting decisions, from honeycomb to insect wings.
Rani enjoys sharing her creativity and love of metal with students with out-of-the-box thinking. Her fearless, “fail forward” approach to goldsmithing is refreshing – and makes a workbench success, however small, all the more rewarding.
