Make Your Own Band(s) Experience! - TWO DAY
This is a unique opportunity to create your own simple wedding band - or special occasion band - under close supervision and guidance in a lovely studio setting in Charlottesville, VA. In this two day experience you will learn wax carving and lost-wax casting techniques to design and create your ring.
The first day will entail you carving your ring from wax and investing them to prepare for casting. The second day you will cast your metal into the mold your wax was in and finish your ring(s). We will discuss the options and details prior to meeting and materials and tools will be ready for you when you arrive.
You can choose to work with Tavia Brown or Danielle Stevens.
Meeting days and times will be scheduled directly with the artist.
Allow 3-4 months prior to date rings are needed to be sure our schedules align.
